# Box Of Synths

> Box Of Synths is a software synth that designs sounds based on what you type, from a database of measured synths and years of extensive research, or from a local model through Ollama. The free beta is closed (at capacity). The official release, free and Pro, lands in early October: the newsletter box on the home page is how to hear the day it lands. Standalone, AU and VST3, on Mac, Windows and Linux. Sound design methods: patent applications pending.
